I am a psychiatrist with expertise in the assessment and treatment of psychiatric conditions including those that are linked to legal problems. I am an excellent communicator in person and in writing, and I take pride in providing clear and understandable answers to my clients. I am easily accessible in person, by phone or by email.
I have experience in forensic settings including: monitoring and treating patients on probation, prediction of violence, prison psychiatry, and testifying in civil commitment and sex-offender registry board hearings. I can provide assessments for determination of insanity/mental defect, for determination of competency to stand trial or for guardianship hearings.
In addition to performing assessments, I am available to treat your clients who are remanded to treatment, or who are at risk of consequences from their behavior, drug abuse or mental illness, or who are simply experiencing emotional struggles. I treat a wide range of psychiatric conditions including anxiety, depression, addiction, personality problems and relationship problems. I provide treatment to adults, adolescents and children with psychiatric medication and/or psychotherapy. I coordinate closely with other professionals to ensure the highest level of service to my clients.
